May your souls rest in peace Third edition of the Shield magazine out Full of fun, jokes, humour, education, sports, current affairs, pictorial, facts, poems the third edition of the shield has been released, copies of the magazine can be obtained from the school offices at a friendly price of 5000/= UGX School excels in PLE 2007 It was joy and happiness at the school when the 2007 Primary Leaving Exams results were released by the Ministry of Education and our school had maintained the culture of excellent performance. Among the pupils who sat for the final exams, 125 passed in division 1 and 10 passed in division 2, there were no 3rd grades and neither did any one fail. 6 pupils scored 4 out 4 the highest a candidate can get. Thumbs up to the teachers for the good work and the you the parents for your efforts and support towards this milestone Mother Kevin's memorial Hall progresses The recently launched project of the construction of the Mother Kevin Memorial Hall that was opened at the time the school marked 75 years of existance [Platinum Jubilee] in the year 2007 that mother Kevin's 50th death anniversary was marked has taken shape already. Construction work is moving on smoothly thanks to the support from the parents of the school and the generous contributions from various communities
New branch to Namilyango Junior, Mother Kevin Namilyango Junior School opens in Nsambya Namilyango Junior School branch at Nsambya has officially opened its first term I 08/02/2008. The school under direct supervision of Namilyango Junior school was built to cater for the influx of young boys that could not be accomodated at JBS. The new primary school, a project of the Little Sisters of St. Francis has classes from P.1- P.7 and admissions are stil going on at either JBS in Namilyango or at the school campus located just below St. Josephs Girls School another school for the Little Sisters of St. Francis

School mourns Mr. Segujja Namilyango Junior with deep sorrow announces the death of Mr. Segujja Peter a teacher of Science in P.1 who served the school dedicatedly. He fell to Diabets on 24th June 07 and buried in Gombe Mpigi, may his soul rest in eternal peace

St. Mawagali wins Inter-house music competitions - 2007 As part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, the school organized the annual Inter house Music Dance and Drama competitions on 4/04/2007. The function was attended by all parents as it was also a day for collection of pupils for Easter; It was such an entertaining day full of performances that saw every one who attended leaving satisified by the pupils; most interestingly was pupils pulling up excellent performances and dancing like senior drama groups and dancing traditional girls' dances. To that effect, parents were overheard commenting that these were performances of class A from such pupils St. Mawagali was crowned winner from the activities that included Western piece, Poem, Folk song, Play and Dance. It was followed by St. Kizito. The winning house walked away with a bull and the second with two goats
