An infant child as soon as he gets used to the school and gets used to the school routine, he is even time conscious more especially meals time. Before the bell goes for any meal he is already in front of the dinning hall waiting for the teacher on duty to open the door. He is always the first on the line. To him washing hands before and after eating seems wastage of time.
He hates bathing. When it is time for bathing he tries to dodge by failing to get water or reporting the loss of his basin.
He sometimes doesn’t concentrate for long. He wants to do an activity for a short time. His concentration span is for a short time. He concentrates for some forty minutes.
He enjoys helping his teachers for examples, cleaning the chalkboard, changing the weather chart, giving out books and pencils. When he is given a motherly care, love and comfort at school, he forgets all about his home and settles for his studies. After getting used to the school routine, he participates well in different activities, interacts with teachers and fellow pupils. During play time he enjoys playing with his classmates or peers.
Worse still as one is in primary one; he will only know that primary one teacher is his only teachers. Teachers of any other classes will not be taken important or of any help to them.
